Many emerging Hi-Fi brands often require several years or even decades of development to reach maturity in product design, craftsmanship, and sound quality. The Grandis series had been in development for a long time before its official launch and impressed everyone from the very beginning.

Behind this rapid rise to prominence lies the solid support of Aperion Audio's technical team's extensive experience—before embarking on the design of the Grandis series, they had conducted in-depth listening tests and research on Hi-Fi products from numerous top international audio brands. Based on this, the Aperion Audio design team skillfully integrated their rich design and acoustic expertise into the Grandis sound philosophy, resulting in products with a unique, distinctive acoustic performance.

Both the Grandis GR6T, and the Grandis GR8T offer superior sound quality, excellent craftsmanship and bespoke parts. They also boast of a richer, fuller midrange and a more robust low-frequency response, making it effortlessly capable of filling larger spaces. In fact, in most scenarios, you might not need to add a separate subwoofer to enhance the bass.

The Grandis GR8T is a robust 3-way, 4-driver speaker that delivers exceptional performance. Standing just shy of 50 inches tall with a proprietary, bespoke aluminum base, it weighs a solid 108 pounds. The entire speaker cabinet is meticulously crafted from Premium High-Density Fiberboard (HDF), known for its excellent physical properties that provide a solid and dependable structural foundation for the speaker. Inside the cabinet, a reinforcing rib support structure is implemented, acting like a sturdy skeleton that significantly boosts the cabinet's overall strength and stability. This design effectively eliminates any unwanted resonance and abnormal sounds caused by cabinet vibrations, ensuring that the audio produced is pure and free from noise interference.

The cabinet features a distinctive trapezoidal design, being narrower at the top and broader at the bottom. This design choice stems from thoughtful consideration and precise calculations while effectively minimizes reflection and diffraction interference on high-frequency sound waves, ultimately enhancing clarity and realism in sound quality. Additionally, the front of the cabinet is designed with a slight backward slope, taking into account how sound waves travel. Given that different frequencies have varying propagation speeds, this slanted design helps synchronize the travel time of both high and low-frequency sound waves. Ultimately providing users with the best listening experience they can experience.

To reduce the diffraction of sound waves produced by the speaker, the front features an aluminum panel designed with a waveguide angle. Additionally, the four forward-firing speaker units; comprising of a 1.1" tweeter, a 3" soft dome midrange, and dual 8" woofers are flush-mounted for a sleek look.

The cabinet of the Grandis high-fidelity speakers features a smooth, curved design on all sides, which makes it visually stand out compared to your traditional right-angle design. But why did our engineers choose this distinctive shape over the traditional square design? We have produced a range of right-angle speaker models, including the classic Intimus series with its timeless aesthetic, the Bravus II series, which exudes professionalism with its strong lines, the Allaire wireless speakers, which showcase a sleek and convenient design, and the popular Novus series, which remains true to conventional right-angle forms.

When we shift our gaze to the bottom of the speaker, we notice an essential component; the terminal cup. This terminal cup features three pairs of extra-thick, bespoke gold-plated binding posts that stand out beautifully. The gleaming gold surface and elegant design come together to radiate a high-end aesthetic to match it's sound.

Notably, they also support Tri Wiring for sound separation. Operating it is a breeze; remove the gold connecting piece in the middle, allowing for easy independent connections of the tweeter, midrange, and bass speaker units to meet various audio configuration needs.
