Theatrus T8C In-Ceiling Speaker
The T8C In-Ceiling Speaker features an open two-way design without a cabinet, showcasing a coaxially arranged tweeter and woofer at the front, while the rear houses a crossover circuit and binding posts, presenting a simple yet elegant configuration.
It incorporates an AMT Ribbon tweeter alongside a 203 mm (8 inch) long-stroke mid-woofer constructed from Curv Cone composite material, which is both lightweight and durable. This design ensures exceptional transient response, high efficiency, and the ability to handle substantial power, resulting in a sound that is both delicate and precise.
The Theatrus T8C In-Ceiling Speaker offers exceptional sound quality for audiophiles in a sleek, ceiling-mounted design.

We created ceiling speakers specifically for the Theatrus series in response to the demands of our customers, so let us introduce the Theatrus T8C 8" In-Ceiling Speaker.
Our engineers placed emphasiz on the importance of achieving perfect consistency in the attributes and materials of the tweeter and woofer of the Theatrus series. This led to the development of our both the Theatrus T6C and Theatrus T8C in-ceiling speakers.
The T8C boasts a unibody frame made from aluminum, which provides outstanding fire and rust resistance—far better than traditional materials. This construction ensures exceptional durability in high-temperature, high-humidity, and saline environments.
The aluminum build offers not only a sleek, premium metallic look but also strong structural integrity all while securely holding the woofer and tweeter in place.

Easy mount and install
Installing your speakers has never been easier. All of our Theatrus in-ceiling speakers come with an installation template and dog-ear clip drywall mounting system. Simply use the template to cut the proper hole size, hook up the wires, insert the speakers, and turn the red dog-ear clips by hand one by one; they will automatically lock into place. All that’s left is to sit back, relax and enjoy.
Paintable Black Magnetic Grille
The black grille is better suited for the dim lighting of a private home theater; it does not stand out obtrusively but blends perfectly into the environment, becoming virtually unnoticeable unless you look closely. If you require a white mesh grille, please contact our customer service team before ordering. Should you want to get a color match, the grille is also easily paintable.

The Air Motion Transformer tweeter boasts a 90% reduction in excursion requirement when compared to a typical dome tweeter, resulting in improved agility and accuracy. Notably, it possesses a high Young's Modulus and excellent internal damping properties. The collaboration between the woofer and tweeter ensures the delivery of outstanding integrated sound details, boasting a frequency response range of 36Hz to 35kHz
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better-balanced frequency response across the whole range.
Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers has also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions.
The Theatrus series employs superior customized components, which include high-quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring with spade connectors to make upgrading a breeze, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board with an Aperion red color to represent our love of great sounding audio!
Treble and Midrange Jumper Adjustments
Always get the most out of your speakers -- without compromise! The initial Adjustments out of the box are both set to 0 db.
The +/- 2 dB treble equalization jumper allows you to adjust the high-frequency sound to your preference no matter what kind of installation challenges you face.
The Theatrus T8C In-Ceiling speakers also feature a jumper for adjusting midrange frequencies, specifically within the range of 100-200 Hz, by -5 dB. Should you find the human voice to be excessively full, you have the option to insert the jumper into the -5 dB setting, which will effectively lower the midrange frequencies in that spectrum.

What's in the box?
The Theatrus T8C In-ceiling speaker comes with an owners manual download card, a Cut-out template for easy installation, and of course the Grille.
How do I secure the T8C in-ceiling speakers to my ceiling?
Simply remove the 4 rubber inserts on the aluminum frame, grab your trusty Phillips screwdriver, press the dog-leg down and turn to lock it in place.
Once you're ready to secure it to your ceiling, simply turn the dog leg back and it should form a tight squeeze between your ceiling and the T8C In-ceiling speakers.

What speaker wire should I use for my in-ceiling speakers?
We recommend at a minimum a CL2 rated speaker wire, like the 16 AWG Straight Wire Waveguide 1.5 or the 14 AWG Straight Wire Waveguide 2.0 In-wall or In-ceiling speaker cable.

I want a 7.1.4 system, so do I need a power amplifier?
Most receivers that have more than 7 channels, think an 11.2 Channel receiver for an example. They don't actually provide power to all 11 channels they just have the capability to process 11 channels of audio. So you would need a separate Power Amplifier to ensure all your speakers would function as expected.
Can I aim the speaker?
Yes! Well, kind of, the Theatrus T8C woofer and tweeter are angled at 9°(degrees) allowing you to rotate it towards the primary seating position(s) before securing it to your ceiling.
