The B215S features an ultra-slim cabinet design that allows it to be easily concealed behind acoustically transparent screens or acoustic treatment materials, achieving an "invisible" effect. This is a key requirement for many high-end custom-installation cinema projects.

The Bravus III B215S features a brand-new 15-inch driver, surpassing all previous models in the Bravus series. Our engineers have successfully addressed the challenges that arises from using such large cones. As the size of the cone increases, the risks of deformation due to the extra weight rises, making a precise response much more difficult. To address this issue, the B215S utilizes a cone made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy, achieving a precise balance of rigidity and weight. The driver unit is secured by specially designed rubber surrounds and a spider suspension, ensuring smooth and unimpeded linear piston movement. The entire assembly is firmly supported by a robust metal frame and driven by a powerful magnetic system. It is this oversized woofer design that gives the B215S its powerful energy output and extremely deep bass extension capabilities.

When it comes to placement of your subwoofer, a critical factor influencing bass performance you probably can't change is your rooms acoustic characteristics. This often poses numerous challenges. Due to variations in room shape, dimensions, and construction materials, sound propagation within a space can lead to phenomena such as reflections and interference, thereby compromising the uniformity and impact of the bass. To effectively address these acoustic issues and achieve truly ideal bass reproduction, relying on a single subwoofer is often insufficient. In line with its high-end positioning, the manufacturing process is exceptional as well. The cabinet features a curved design on both sides, and the panels are made of multi-layered, high-density fiberboard. This series of design choices made by our engineering and R&D team provides excellent stability to the cabinet, effectively suppressing unwanted harmonic resonances. This stability is crucial for supporting the two 15-inch woofers, and helps in minimizing vibration interference with sound quality, and ensuring you get a pure, and powerful sound.

This brand-new Class D power amplifier utilizes ICEpower® power modules. It maximizes driver control while delivering abundant and precisely controllable power, effortlessly moving large volumes of air. It boasts excellent efficiency and stable operations on standard household power circuits. This amplifier delivers 1300 watts RMS and up to 2600 watts peak. It incorporates the latest DSP processing capabilities for core functions, including crossover, volume, phase, and preset EQ.

The onboard DSP includes three selectable EQ profiles to quickly adapt the subwoofer to your room or content. Each preset adjusts the system's frequency response and extension characteristics.

- Extend gives an extended frequency response for the deepest bass; however, the lower frequencies can be overrepresented and “muddy”, depending on the room geometries, placement of the sub, and listening position.

- Normal is a direct countermeasure to the “muddy” bass problem of overrepresented bass or room gain. Lowering the bass extension makes the bass more controlled.

- The "Flat" mode has no built-in DSP processing, allowing users to connect other low-frequency management devices for use.

Since this subwoofer can be positioned either vertically or horizontally, we have specially designed the Aperion Audio logo to be rotatable. Simply grasp the edges of the logo with your fingers, pull it outward, and rotate it to the desired orientation.

Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms; if you intend to keep the wheels on, please remember to lock the wheels to prevent the subwoofer from moving during use. We also included four (4) anti-vibration silicone feet in the packaging. If you don't want to use the wheels, you can lay the subwoofer on its side, remove the wheels, and replace them with the included silicone feet.

This subwoofer's design carefully considers the user's real-world usage scenarios by supporting flexible placement options, both vertical and horizontal. To facilitate this, we have incorporated cable routing channels on the back of the enclosure, making it easy to manage your cables based on your preferred setup. Additionally, recognizing that subwoofer signal cables are often thick and difficult to secure, we have included several metal cable clamps. With a simple Phillips screwdriver, you can easily attach and tighten these clamps to hold the cables in place, ensuring a tidy and safe arrangement during operation.
