How difficult is it to install the Aperion Audio Clearus C6W 2-Way 6.5" In-Wall Speaker, and what tools will I need?
The Clearus C6W is designed for straightforward in-wall installation by most DIYers. Installation typically requires a drywall saw, screwdriver, and a wire stripper. The C6W includes integrated dog-ear mounting brackets that secure the speaker to drywall up to 1.25" thick. A cut-out template is provided to help you mark and cut the perfect opening. No special tools are needed, and the speaker’s low-profile design helps ensure a flush, discreet fit in most standard wall cavities.
Can the Aperion logo badge on the C6W`s grille be removed?
The logo badge was initially designed to be magnetic; however, due to the numerous holes in the mesh grille, the magnetic attachment proved to be insecure and often fell off. As a result, we have switched to gluing the logo badge directly onto the grille. If you ever need to remove the logo badge, you can easily pry it off with a screwdriver.
