Energy Pro High Power 3 (Three) Channel High-Fidelity Power Amplifier E3H
900 watts per channel at 4ohms, and 600 watts per channel at 8ohms, the Energy E3H features a new circuit design and sporting three times the power output of the regular E3 Power Amplifier. Why you need the Energy Pro E3H Power Amplifier
The integrated AV receiver combines the functionalities of a pre-amplifier and power amplifier. It not only amplifies the audio signal but also allows for volume adjustment, sound quality adjustment, input source switching, EQ adjustment, and more. On the other hand, a pure power amplifier's main purpose is to amplify the sound signal from the pre-amplifier to drive the speakers. It does not have features such as volume control, sound quality adjustment, and EQ, and needs to be used in conjunction with an independent pre-amplifier.
The integrated pre-amplifier offers a smaller size and lower cost due to its inclusion of both pre-amplifier and power amplifier functions. This makes it suitable for individuals with limited space or budget who do not have high-performance requirements. However, since the integrated pre-amplifier houses everything in a single chassis, its performance and heat dissipation capabilities are limited. All Energy series amplifiers adopt the Class AB design. The core advantage of Class AB amplifiers lies in their ability to balance sound quality and efficiency. By setting a small static bias current, it eliminates the crossover distortion of Class B amplifiers and avoids the inefficiency and high heat of Class A amplifiers. Bespoke Toroidal Transformer and Capacitors
Featuring an over-sized toroidal transformer with bi-filar windings ensures low noise and crosstalk, hallmarks of all Energy Power Amplifiers.

Utilizing the remote trigger allows the Energy E3H Power Amp to be powered on automatically when the connected source or preamplifier device is turned on.
Trigger Output
Have more than one Power Amplifier? The Trigger Output allows you to link out to another amplifier via a 1/8" 12V Trigger Cable.
XLR & RCA Inputs
Use the UNBALANCED RCA or BALANCED XLR INPUT jacks to connect to the outputs of a preamplifier or other control device.
LED Logo Design
Featuring a novel Aperion Logo LED indicator design, with backlit lights covering the entire front logo and around the power button. After powering the Amplifier on, there will be a white light, gradually dimming to dark after aproximately 20-30 seconds. In standby mode the light will showcase a dim red light.
Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Breaker
The hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker is a unique electrical protection device that integrates overload protection and fault protection in one mechanism, eliminating the need for separate thermal and magnetic mechanisms for each function. It controls the current flow to each amplifier bank, automatically switching off in case of an overload. To reset the amplifier, lower the volume, and manually switch the breaker back to the "ON" position.
Getting to Know the Rear Panel
1. Input Selector Switch
Selects either the BALANCED INPUT (XLR) or the UN-BALANCED (RCA) INPUT jack.
2. Unbalanced RCA Audio Inputs
Use the UNBALANCED INPUT jacks to connect to the out-puts of a preamplifier, receiver with preout connections, CD player, or other source device with RCA style outputs.
3. Balanced XLR Audio Inputs
Use the BALANCED INPUT jacks to connect to the outputs of a preamplifier or other control device with XLR outputs.
4. Trigger Input and Output Port
Trigger Input: This allows the amplifier controlled by a source or preamplifier device. Trigger Output: Link out to anther amplifier via 1/8" mono minicable.
5. Product Serial Number
This is where we attach the product serial number. All Aperion products come with a serial number sticker. This sticker is like the product's identification information and is related to your after-sales service. Please keep it and do not remove it.
6. Speaker Outputs
Use the OUTPUT binding posts to connect the amplifier to your Speakers, red for positive, black for negative.
7. Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Breaker & Master Power Switch
The hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker is a specialized type of electrical protection device that combines overload protection and fault protection into a single mechanism, instead of using separate thermal and magnetic mechanisms for each function.
Turns the current to each bank of the amplifier on or off.
If you meet an overload situation, the switch will automatically jump to the Off position, in this case, you need to turn down the sound volume, and then manually put the switch up to "ON" position to restart the amplifier.

Protection Circuits
Overheating Protection Circuit: The power amplifier is intended to operate within a certain temperature range. If the ambient temperature rises excessively or if there is a malfunction, the device will automatically curtail the output when it identifies that the internal temperature has exceeded the specified limit. The operation will only resume once the amplifier's temperature has reverted to the rated level.
DC Current Protection: In cases where the input signal has a considerable DC voltage component, the power amplifier will automatically restrict the DC output voltage to safeguard the loudspeaker drivers from harm.
Overcurrent Protection: Safeguards equipment from damage when there is an unusual rise in output current.
Load Short-Circuit Protection: In instances where the power amplifier's output circuitry goes into a short-circuit state—particularly at elevated volume levels—the load on the amplifier surges dramatically. This leads the amplifier to engage a protection mode to avoid damaging the amplification circuitry.

Easily connect the Energy Pro E3H Three Channel Power Amplifier to your PreAmp or Receiver using either Unbalanced RCA Interconnects, or Balanced XLR cables. Simply flip the switch to "XLR" or "RCA" depending on what you are using.
To power up your passive speakers, simply use your speaker cable of choice and connect them to the heavy-duty 5-way gold plated binding post terminals using either; bare wire, banana plugs, spade connectors, round pins, or flat pins.

FAQs
Will the E3H overheat during long movie or music sessions?
The E3H is highly unlikely to overheat if basic ventilation is allowed. The E3H uses large passive heat sinks, an oversized toroidal transformer and 80,000 µF per channel capacitance for stable high-fidelity output, so it runs cool without the use of a fan. We recommend to give at least 4 - 8 inches of clearance, while avoiding closed cabinets if possible.
Can the E3H drive large, low-sensitivity speakers in a big room?
Yes—the Energy Pro 3-channel power amplifier is built for headroom. You get RMS 600W at 8Ω, RMS 900W at 4Ω, all-channels driven, and a 4–16Ω load range, so it can drive low-sensitivity speakers in large rooms.
How do I connect the E3H to my preamp or AV receiver?
Use your preamp or AV processor’s pre-outs into the E3H’s XLR (preferred) or RCA inputs. The 1/8" trigger cable (5–24V) lets you daisy-chain power-on with multiple amps. If a specific configuration feels undefined, contact Aperion support before wiring.
Do I need a dedicated rack fan for the E3H?
Not necessarily. The E3H’s passive heat sinks handle normal home-theater duty without onboard fans, but rack installations with little airflow or stacked amps benefit from forced ventilation. We also recommend keeping a 4" - 8" clearance around the chassis.
Is upgrading from my integrated AVR to the E3H worth it?
Short answer? Yes. If you want cleaner, higher continuous power and more headroom for your LCR channels, yes—the Aperion E3H offers dedicated amplification (RMS 600W/8Ω, RMS 900W/4Ω, all-channels driven), an oversized toroidal transformer and massive per-channel capacitance for tighter dynamics and lower distortion than most AVRs and Power Amplifiers.
