1 Inch German Silk-Dome Tweeter
Each Novus Loudspeaker is embedded with our 1 inch German Silk Dome tweeter - a high-end natural fiber dome membrane. A neodymium motor and ferrofluid cooled voicecoil help give this tweeter a flat frequency response that can extend up to 30kHz. It is surrounded by an aluminum faceplate and metal grille.
The sloping front baffle design creates an even phase alignment between treble and bass drivers.
Dual 6.5 Inch Aramid-Fiber Woofers
These woofers are a long-throw linear excursion design, with broad dynamic range and low distortion. Our aramid-fiber woofer cones feature a unique tooled rubber surround to conceal any mounting screws used for the Novus N6T 6.5" Loudspeaker.
The front ported design can enhance the bass performance of many speaker cabinets. In the case of the Novus, we went with a slotted reflex front port design. This front ported design reduces air-leak noise and increases the bass performance throughout the room, so sit back and enjoy those bass vibrations.
Tweeter Adjustment
The Novus N6T Tower speakers come with a Tweeter Adjustment feature. Allowing you to choose either the standard voicing for crisp, clear treble or the -3dB setting for a more mellow treble response.
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and mid-bass drivers have also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The N6T employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, and customized Aperion internal wiring with quick disconnect connectors to make any (unlikely) repairs a breeze.
Front Slotted Reflex Port
A slotted reflex port on the tower and bookshelf speakers reduces air-leak noise with increased bass performance.
Sloping Front Baffle
The thoughtfully designed sloping front baffle enhances the audio experience by ensuring precise phase alignment between the treble and bass drivers. This deliberate angle not only contributes to a seamless integration of high and low frequencies but also fosters a more cohesive soundstage, allowing for clearer and more defined musical details.
Custom Aluminum Outrigger Feet
We designed and customized these outriggers to match the sound quality and beautiful looks inspired by our Novus 6T tower. This new designs brings better stabilization, enhanced acoustical isolation, and bring the N6T tower speaker to the true audiophile realm.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 63 reviews.
After what felt like an endless amount of research, I finally pulled the trigger on the Aperion Novus lineup. My setup is: • Novus N6B bookshelves • Novus N6C center • Novus N6SS Tripolar surrounds • Dual DS12 subs • Onkyo RZ70 I looked at what felt like everything in this price range. SVS, KEF, Monitor Audio, Paradigm, Polk, Emotiva… the list just kept growing. At some point I realized I wasn’t looking for the speaker with the flattest measurements or the one everyone said was the most “accurate.” I wanted something that would make me smile every time I put on a movie. I’m probably 80 to 90% movies and gaming, so that was my priority. I wanted a big, cinematic sound with clear dialogue and something I could listen to for hours without getting worn out. The biggest reason I ended up with Aperion was honestly the Tripolar surrounds. They don’t get talked about enough. They create such an enveloping sound that the room just disappears during a good surround mix. They’ve easily been my favorite part of the entire system. The center channel deserves a lot of credit too. Dialogue is excellent, even at lower volumes, which was a huge deal for me because I hate constantly reaching for the remote when movies go from whispering to explosions. Overall, I’d describe the sound as warm, dynamic, and cinematic. There’s plenty of detail, but it never gets sharp or fatiguing. It’s the kind of system that makes you forget you’re evaluating speakers and just enjoy whatever you’re watching. I don’t see Aperion mentioned very often, so I figured I’d throw my experience out there. If your system is used mostly for home theater and immersion is high on your list, I think they’re worth a serious look. I couldn’t be happier with where I ended up.
Here you go: -Novus N6T 6.5" Floorstanding Tower Speakers (Pair) -Intimus 5.1 series (4 bookshelves with stands and 1 sub) bought in 2004. -Aperion PST Planar-Magnetic Ribbon Super Tweeter Speaker Pair MKII -Aperion Premium 4N Single Crystal Copper Silver-Plated Audio Cable
Outstanding customer service in the purchase of my Novus tower speakers. Fantastic sound and clarity, I also own the Versus line but just had to grab the Novus while they were on sale. Outstanding value!
My novus product came faster than expected which is a plus, I made a 5.0 systems from my previous purchases and I am very pleased with this setup.
Great high quality product and very good warranty although I never used since no issue whatsoever. Great packaging with the velvet bags and great 30-day return policy just in case you change your mind or wish to try different models. A bit pricey, but I believe it worth it !
A great source to purchase audio products. Quality selections that are excellent in value. Purchased a full novus system from them years ago and the speakers are going strong.
Aperion, great company - wonderful product! Aperion has excellent customer service and their speakers are great. I purchased the Novus 6T. The white matte finish goes good with the decoration of our home and more importantly it sounds amazing. So even though I am very happy with the Novus 6T. I'm looking forward to trying out the top of the line Verus III system!!!
Excellent service, speakers and price. It doesn't get any better!
Speakers sound great!
Great product at a reasonable price. I purchased my speakers years ago and couldn’t be happier.
I am very pleased with the sound of my Aperion speakers. My wife really likes how they look like fine furniture and they don't tip over when her cats jump on top of them. I have two Novus 6T towers for the front speakers and an Novus 6C for the center speaker. I have two Novus 5B speakers in the back wall and also two Intimus 5B speakers near the ceiling in the front.
Great speakers 5.1
I purchased a 7.1 Aperion Novus speaker system in 2020 and I've been very happy with it. The sound is great and there have been zero problems. Love it! The velvety cloth bags the speakers came in is a very classy touch.
speaker shipment this is my third shipment of novus speakers. i got them in stages. the last thing to get was two towers. they sound great now i have a 7.1 set up.
I am very pleased with the service I received from your customer service department.I love the craftsmanship and sound of my speakers. I would recommend to anyone, taking a serious look at purchasing your product.
Wow! They are great! I am very pleased with my new speakers in the bedroom.
Order experience excellent. Speakers arrived on time in perfect condition. The sound is truly impressive, especially at this point. Breaking in, I found the towers a tad bright for me. Pulling the jumpers from the back attenuated perfectly. Since I’ve ordered the Verus surrounds. Wanted the Verus towers but didn’t want to spend the money. Going to see if maybe I can work something out. Had them 42 days. I’m happy either way. Aperion is a great place to get audiophile quality gear for fair market
I absolutely love my new novus speakers and stands. I've had an Aperion Audio system for years and decided to upgrade it just a bit. Very happy.
Great experience Extremely friendly and professional. Was very honest and saved me money. Patient and helpful while I tried different speaker combinations. Great Experience!
Excellent service very happy ordering them on line also the speaker have excellent build quality and the speaker sound extremely good for the money
Super helpful, no questions asked regarding a woofer replacement on my Novus speaker (still under warranty). Sent replacement part right away and it fixed my issue! the 5-year warranty is awesome! All my speakers in my house are Aperion. two thumbs up!
You guys are the best! I’ve purchased a Novus 6T home theater bundle with 10 and 12D Bravus II subs and 8" ceiling speakers. Recently, we upgraded to a Verus grand center. I’m hoping for Verus towers next!
Aperion Novus 6t I was looking for a pair of reasonably priced compact towers, preferably front ported and in black gloss. Aperion email notification indicated that a clearance sale was currently on. The website indicated that only 1 Novus 6t tower was available (in gloss black) After contacting customer service to verify availability Collin informed me that they did in fact still have a pair of b-stock in the warehouse and sent me pictures ..didn't see anything wrong with them and went ahead with order... Received them in about 8 days Unpacked and couldn't find anything wrong with them, no scuffs or blemishes? The finish is excellent Hooked them up and started listening to music...jazz, some rock (will add a sub later) Nice sounding and looking compact towers I like them so thank you very much!
Great tower speaker. Excellent customer service and support. Always a pleasure working with the team at Aperion.
Amazing T6 tower speakers, great purchasing experience!
First let me say the packaging is excellent and well above average compared to mainstream brands at these price levels. The attention to safe packaging cannot be overstated - I've received $3,000 speakers where the packaging is blown to bits and unusable a second time - not the case with Aperion Audio Novus I received. Fit-N-Finish: Top marks for visual finish, design and build quality. The N6T's are even more handsome in person. I love the unique reflex slotted port as well as the subtle baffle slope. Bass driver quality is good, crossover parts are above average in this category. You will not find ceramic resistors in oversees designs at this price level. The grills are impressive as are the many fine details of a $1700 speaker. Sound: I give the N6T top marks as a dynamic, punchy and well sorted micro detail speaker for movies. For music, the Novus are cut from the typical American sound profile, lots of hard rocking bass, extra leading edge detail for your brass and symbols, yet a little too light in the vocal department. Think Hans Zimmer Film Scores - the Novus are up to the task with full range movie scape sound. You will want a very strong tube amp or high quality class A/B amp that promotes midrange warmth to extract the very best from your N6T's. *Use thick copper speaker cables, avoid silver cables, the N6T need no assistance with upper treble energy. Aperion Audio speakers should last you many trouble free years.
Really appreciate the responsiveness of the staff. I own a number of Aperion novus speakers and have enjoyed them for years.
Best pre and post purchase customer service ever!!! Collin was incredible throughout the pre-purchase and post purchase process. Made sure the speakers included the grills desired and threw in some Aperion swag too! This was my third purchase from Aperion in the past month! Phase 3 of speaker upgrade complete, 2 more phases to go, and both will be Aperion speakers!
GREAT TOWER SPEAKER AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE "I can't tell you how happy I am with the whole "Aperion Audio" experience - granted your speakers are great but the customer services really rounds the product offering off. I'll wait for my speaker and won't be any less pleased with my purchase because of the minor delay. Thank you for keeping me in the loop.
Aperion Systems Rock! I bought my Novus 5.1 system in Feb, 2020. Although speaker technology has advanced, I'm as happy with my system today as I was 4 years ago. When it's time to upgrade, I will do so with a newer Aperion speaker system. The prices are still reasonable and Aperion systems are the best!
I love the Novus 6T Tower speakers, and everyone I have showed them to says they sound great! All in all I am quite pleased. Thanks for your help.
I bought these speakers several years ago. They look and sound very good. Service in the purchase was excellent too.
Love these novus speakers. I had mine for 4 years with absolutely no problems. Total of 7 speakers in my system.
Bought an Novus series system over 5 years ago, still plays favorably with some fairly expensive other brands. Big value and still highly valued to me for many applications. Good enough for the best source equipment $$ can buy, but can still put a high value solution together for much less than you think. Highly Recommend.
I AM BLOWN AWAY I wanted to write and say thank you for making wonderful, affordable speakers. I have auditioned speakers costing several times what your Novus 6T speakers cost, and didn't get the sound quality that I now enjoy. When listening to music, the source is completely transparent. On a particular song by Charlie Parker, the vibraphone appeared in front of me and I could literally hear where the musician was playing on the actual instrument. You could actually tell where the mics were for the recording. I am blown away! I hope to get the center, surrounds, and sub very soon to complete and already wonderful system.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE After many years of research, I finally saved enough to purchase a set of high-end speakers. As I auditioned several speaker systems, I included Aperion Audio because of the reviews, ratings, and return policy (30 days to audition). Well, I was completely satisfied with the sound and performance that I'm now saving to purchase another set (N6T speakers) for my living room.
Great novus speakers, I absolutely love it, I recommend it for those who like loud sound
Took home some speakers for try out. Great tower speakers, right now they're still #1 on my list. Great service and great sounding speakers.
Great system and customer service I ordered a Novus system in early June. The center channel was on back-order until late July or early August however the Aperion team located one at an Amazon facility and had it shipped to me within 2 days of receiving the rest of the order. Thank you
