The T87 Monitor Speaker is a 3-Way design, featuring an array of seven (7) drivers, which fuses into a super force of sound quality that is designed for home theater, custom installation, professional music studios, and film studios.
The Theatrus T107 Monitor Speaker features a custom-designed aluminum faceplate in the center, housing the 5"x1" AMT Ribbon Tweeter and Dual 3-inch Soft-Dome Mid-Range Drivers. To deliver an enhanced low end, the Quad 8" Woofers are meticulously crafted from German Propex Fabrics Curv material.

Due to its large size, the T87 Monitor Speaker can only be positioned vertically. Therefore, the design takes into consideration the placement of the speaker by including an aluminum foundation.
Due to its large size, the T87 cannot be installed in the wall, resulting in the removal of the low-frequency adjustment function in this model. The backplate now features three groups of gold-plating binding-posts, allowing for triamping/triwiring mode and providing users with more options.

Three Way Design
The Theatrus T87 features a superior three-way speaker design, demonstrating significant advantages in audio reproduction. It is meticulously configured with Aperion’s Air Motion Tweeter, boasting exceptional sensitivity and the ability to precisely reproduce high-frequency details; two 3-inch soft-dome midrange drivers, delivering rich, natural midrange performance; and four 10-inch long-throw Curv Cone woofers, providing a powerful, highly impactful low-frequency soundstage.
Robust Construction
The T87 features a cabinet constructed from robust, high-density fiberboard (HDF). Its interior is meticulously engineered with multiple structural braces to ensure rock-solid stability, effectively eliminating cabinet resonance at its source and enabling a pure, interference-free audio output. The cabinet is finished with a matte black paint that feels premium to the touch. It's especially well-suited to a dark cinema environment because it is non-reflective.

Tri-Ampable Connections
Tri-ampable is the techie way of saying you can connect one amplifier channel to the woofer, one amplifier to the midrange driver and a third channel to the tweeter. Separating the high, mid and low-frequency wiring helps eliminate interaction, isolate power and reduce distortion.
Oversized Front Ports
The T87 features a bass reflex design with two front ports, effectively minimizing air-leak noise while enhancing bass performance. This design enables the speaker to efficiently reproduce low-frequency sounds.

Aperion High Power Air Motion Tweeter
Our newest high power AMT tweeter, which utilizes the neodymium magnetic radial magnetic field (NRT) technology. In this design, the powerful magnetic poles are positioned on both sides of the sound membrane, resulting in a centripetal convergence that directly drives the sound unit. As a result, the radial magnetic field becomes more uniform and stronger, leading to improved sound density and off-axis response. Additionally, this technology eliminates any magnetic loss, resulting in higher magnet efficiency and increased sensitivity with minimal distortion.
Dual 3" Soft-dome Midrange Drivers
Our high end soft-dome midrange unit features a large, low distortion 75mm voice coil, which exceeds the normal size of this type of drive unit. It's wide pole structure and special damping coating significantly reduce the medium frequency segmentation vibration. It has excellent matching characteristics with the AMT tweeter.
Quad 8" Curv Cone Woofers
The Theatrus Series introduced a cutting-edge CURV material from Germany's Propex Fabrics for each of its Woofers.
This new material is delightfully lightweight while also being rigid and stiff.
It maintains a high resistance to temperature without absorbing water, and, most importantly for driver unit creation, it possesses a high Young's Modulus along with internal damping.
Advanced Crossover Design
The T87 features a three-way passive crossover among the woofers, midrange drivers and the tweeter. The Theatrus line employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring with spade connectors to make upgrading a breeze, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board to represent our love of great sounding audio!
Sound Adjustment
The Theatrus T87 speaker features a high frequency adjustment to compensate for the high frequency attenuation that occurs when a speaker is placed behind a projection screen.
Utilizing this simple yet exquisit sound adjustment, you can easily boost the high-frequency response of the Theatrus T87 speaker by +5dB.
Aluminum Handles
The T87 possesses considerable weight, featuring a pair of aluminum handles on either side to facilitate its transportation. It is advisable to have a minimum of two individuals to securely position the speaker.
