The Verus V8T: A dynamic three-way floor standing tower loudspeaker that is perfect for the bass heads, or those wanting excuisite response. It features our patented 1.1" ASR Soft-Dome Tweeter for crystal clear, smooth highs, two 5.25" Woven Kevlar Mid-range Drivers with Aluminum Phase Plugs, and two 8" Woven Kevlar Woofers with PVC Dust Caps and Rubber Surrounds for a smooth, deep and controlled bass response.

Three Way Tower Design
The Verus III Concert V8T features an exceptional three-way floor-standing loudspeaker design that offers distinct advantages in audio reproduction. It is meticulously equipped with Aperion’s patented 1.1” ASR tweeter, capable of precisely reproducing high-frequency details; two 5.25” Kevlar midrange drivers, delivering a rich and natural mid-range performance; and two 8” long-throw Kevlar woofers, providing a powerful and impactful low-frequency presence. Furthermore, its ingeniously designed, independent, sealed tweeter and midrange enclosure effectively shifts standing waves out of the drivers' passband, thereby significantly enhancing overall sound quality.
Robust Construction
The V8T features a cabinet constructed from robust, high-density fiberboard (HDF). Its interior is meticulously engineered with multiple structural braces to ensure rock-solid stability, effectively eliminating cabinet resonance at its source and enabling a pure, interference-free audio output. In terms of aesthetics, the front baffle is finished with a Sandblasting matte spray-painting process that exudes a premium tactile quality; the remainder of the cabinet is finished in either an elegant black piano lacquer or a warm cherry-wood veneer.
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers have also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The Verus III employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board with an Aperion red color to represent our love of great sounding audio!
Level Adjustment
For the midrange and tweeter we have chosen a crossover that has a fast transient response and a minimum of phase shifting. The connectors are of a bi-wiring type so that you can connect to the amplifier with double cables (bi-wiring), or connect to one or two amplifiers to further improve the sound.

Aperion Patented 1.1" ASR Tweeter
Our design objectives required a tweeter that permits a lower crossover frequency in order to unburden the midrange cones above 2.6 kHz, where they tend to beam. To address this conundrum, we went to the drawing board with the goal of developing a tweeter with a diaphragm that resists “rocking” near its resonant frequency. By pinning the diaphragm’s center in a plane above the voice coil, it became “axially stabilized,” which minimizes unwanted distortion. The silk dome is coated in a specially developed damping compound to ensure a smooth and accurate response with controlled resonance. The refined "wishbone" waveguide has resulted in better output, with more uniform frequency response and wider dispersion across its operating range. The ferrofluid cooled voice-coil is driven by a high-energy ferrite magnet motor.
5.25" Kevlar Midrange Drivers With Aluminum Phase Plug
All woofers in the Verus family employ Kevlar cones. With the crossover point starting at about 300 Hz, this exceptionally rigid Kevlar material allows for a warm, clean and dynamic response. This is driven by a high-performance ferrite magnet structure with a vented pole piece to reduce heat build-up and larger T-yoke for increased excursion to increase bass response. The aluminum phase plug and extended voice coil increases power handling to ensure they perform to the max. These midrange "bullet drivers" provide an extraordinary level of detail contributing to the Verus V8T Tower Speakers full-color palette of sound.
Custom 8" Kevlar Long Throw Woofers
The dual 8" Kevlar woofers provide intense punch with a long-throw linear excursion design. These anchor the bottom end of the 3-way crossover network to provide a tight, clean and accurate low-bass response.
Optional Port Plugs
Optional port plugs are included with the Verus V8T Tower Speakers. If the speakers are placed close to a wall or they sound "boomy" in your room, one or both of the foam plugs may be used to control the bass response.
Furniture-Grade Finish
The slim curves of the Verus line’s first-rate cabinetry make us think "supermodel"—but the primo acoustic qualities means she’d have to sound as good as she looks. The finishing touch for every Verus speaker is a high-gloss cherry-wood veneer or piano-black lacquer that’s so right for every décor, your coffee table will be jealous.

Level Adjustment for the Tweeter and Mid-Range
The Verus V8T features our most advanced adjustments available yet.
Mode 1 = 0dB Adjustment. This is how your speaker is out of the box, the sound is neutral with a flat frequency response.
Mode 2 = +2dB Adjustment, in this mode the tweeter / mid-range level is increased by 2dB.
Mode 3 = -2dB Adjustment, In this mode the tweeter / mid-range level is decreased by 2dB.
Mode 4 = -4dB Adjustment, In this mode the tweeter / mid-range level is decreased by 4dB.
Please ensure that all jumpers are connected. A loose jumper may cause a short-circuit if they jam between the terminals.
"Haven't had any time to play with set up and placement. They are right where I put them when unpacked. They sounded good right away running flat. For the next 3 weeks, they just continued to get better with every passing day of use. They are very accurate speakers. They reproduce exactly what they are given. The bass was lacking at first. Now it's to where I can't believe how tight and low they are going. The soundstage is wide and spacious! They sound outstanding at low and high volumes! I was planning on dialing in my two subs right away. I will get the subs hooked back up sometime, but now, there's no real hurry to do so even though I like the bass to have a solid presence down to 20hz. I haven't had the RTA out, but I'd guess these are solid down to 30hz. I've had many different high end speakers through the years costing more than three times the cost of the V8Ts. These are very close to many of them at a fraction of the price! I think these speakers are a steal at this price! The Icing on the cake is the the drop dead gorgeous finish! They look so good that the wife hasn't complained once! That's never happened before! Lol! I highly recommend these outstanding loudspeakers!"

Custom Lightweight Magnetic Grilles
To protect the speaker's drivers from accidents, pets or curious fingers, the entire Verus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille which can easily be removed when you want to show off your beautiful speakers to friends and family.
Note: To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the top with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.
