Concentric Driver Design

Up-Firing
If you prefer not to mount speakers on the ceiling or walls, you can simply place your A5's on the top of your L/R speakers, enabling any flat-topped speaker to support Dolby Atmos and DTS: X.
If the top of your speaker is curved, don't worry; we have designed a Wood Platform specifically for the A5 that fits speakers with non-flat tops.
Multiple Mounting Options
The Aperion Audio A5 Height Speakers offer versatile mounting options, allowing you to position them in various ways to suit your space. You can place them directly on top of your main speakers for an enhanced audio experience, securely mount them on the wall to save floor space, install them on the ceiling for an immersive surround-sound effect, or even set them on your desk for a convenient, compact setup.

Examples of use cases
Add-on top of main speakers
Comfortably set the APERION Novus A5 Height Speakers on top of your front left and right speakers. This will allow the sound to be reflected off the ceiling and produce the illusion of overhead speakers. If using one pair, place on front speakers. For two pairs, place on top of the front and rear speakers.
On-Wall Down-Firing
If your ceiling does not allow for adequate reflection, mount the APERION A5 high on the front wall. Due to the angle of the speaker, this will also produce a very effective rendering of the overhead channels. Two pairs can be mounted in this fashion on the front and rear walls. The same can be done on the side walls if the front/rear is not suitable.
On-Ceiling Down-Firing
The APERION Novus A5 Height Speakers can also be direct mounted on the ceiling. This avoids having to cut holes in the ceiling, yet provides the ideal positioning of the speakers physically located overhead. Multiple pairs can be used in this configuration.
Rotatable Logo
You can rotate the logo to match whether the speaker is mounted vertically or horizontally.
5-Way Gold-Plated Binding Posts
The 5-way gold-plated binding posts lets you connect your speakers any which way you choose: bare wire, banana plugs, spades, round pins or flat pins.

Back in April/26 I wrote a review on the A5's that I purchased directly from Aperion and stated that Oliver would try and locate a pair of black grilles for me as I had ordered the Matte White finish and when ordering, they showed with black grilles but due to design change, ended up coming to me with white grilles and I was a little disgruntled about that. Oliver did in fact locate a pair of black grilles for me which made me very happy as this now completed my setup the way I wanted it. Thank-you Oliver

The shipping speed was great and the packaging was very well done to protect the contents. They look great, sound great and seem to be very well constructed. Conversations back and forth between me and Oliver were very good and helpful. The only gripe I have is that I ordered these in white and they showed having black grilles which would match up perfectly with my other speakers, but they came with white grilles. Not too happy about that. Oliver apparently trying to locate a black pair.

I have them on top of my RSL speakers and I'm amazed at the effects when I play a movie that features Dolby Atmos. My room is 18X12 and they are a perfect fit. I'm extremely happy with my first Aperion experience.

Hi everyone, I have a full Aperion 7.1.4 system consisting of 2 x Verus III V8T Towers, 4 x Verus III Concert V8B, 1 x Verus III Concert V8C, 1 x Bravus II Subwoofer and 4 x A5 Immersive Height speakers. All speakers running off 2 x E7 Power Amplifiers from a Anthem AVM70 Processor and i have to say the quality of sound from these speakers are astonishing and crystal clear.

Aperion: Great Quality at a Reasonable Price The A5 immersive speakers are wonderful! We now have Atmos surround sound without having to cut holes in our ceiling! Also, the Bravus II 12-inch Subwoofer really adds quality to our movie watching. It really is like being in the theater! The best thing about Aperion is their customer service. I called to ask how they would integrate this big subwoofer with our older speakers and they answered every question . They really wanted to help us get the best sound out of our system. 2ND PAIR OF ATMOS SPEAKER I bought a pair of these Atmos/height speakers a year and a half ago and mounted them on the wall near the ceiling thus them pointing down at me and it’s a world of difference. So recently I decided to finally buy another set for the rear, again mounting them near the ceiling pointing directly down at the listening area.

VERY HAPPY WITH THESE AS PART OF A VERY ENJOYABLE UPGRADE So far I have these on top of my mains . Definitely a much better separation of sound coming from above when these are mounted higher on the wall. But hey, they look cool sitting on the towers lol. In my setup it's easier having these then two extra rears for 7.1, so I am going with 5.1.2 Very happy with these as part of a very enjoyable upgrade I have made to my sound system over the past month.

Very pleased with my Verus setup! Very pleased with the level of service at Aperion Audio. They took the time to walk me through many different surround system configurations to figure out what I needed for my smaller theater room (10’ X 10’). They provided expert advice based on a solid understanding of acoustics and also what their products capabilities are. We went through several ideas and figured out a 5.2.4 layout that worked. We leveraged the A5 immersive height modules for ceiling speakers, bipole speakers for surrounds. I had some legacy Verus towers I was gifted that needed some TLC and they did a perfect repair! The center channel we used the Verus Grand V6C. After some equalization settings work, it’s dialed in. Perfect!

Aperion makes incredible speakers that last! I have owned a 5.1 set of Aperion Intimus speakers for about 14 years and they still produce incredibly fine, detailed sound. This year my old surround receiver (same age as the speakers and purchased through Aperion) gave up the ghost. Long story short, I replaced my TV, receiver, added a 3 channel amplifier for the fronts and of course had to get four height speakers for Dolby Atmos. four that, I selected two pairs of the A5 Immersive Height Modules. one word - WOW! I can't recommend Aperion enough. My old speakers continue to produce incredibly accurate sound and the new ones are just as good. If you are looking for reasonably priced but exquisite sounding speakers Aperion is the brand I will choose every time!

Just ordered Aperions "height" speakers. Nice addition to my Aperion system! I first discovered this company after researching speakers to upgrade my system. Aperion was a very highly rated brand. Come to find out it was direct-to-consumer only. No middle men. With that, you get very high quality speakers at 30-40% the cost of similar competition. The workmanship of these speakers is second to none. All of my speakers have the cherry finish and are stunning.
