3-Way Design with Vertical Tweeter Midrange Array
The Verus III Grand V6C Center Channel features an exceptional three-way design that offers distinct advantages in audio reproduction. It is meticulously equipped with Aperion’s patented 1.1” ASR tweeter, capable of precisely reproducing high-frequency details; one 4” Woven Kevlar Midrange Drivers with Aluminum Phase Plug, delivering a rich and natural performance; and two 6.5” long-throw Kevlar woofer, providing a powerful and impactful low-frequency presence.
Robust Construction
The V6C features a cabinet constructed from robust, high-density fiberboard (HDF). Effectively eliminating cabinet resonance at its source and enabling a pure, interference-free audio output. In terms of aesthetics, the front baffle is finished with a Sandblasting matte spray-painting process that exudes a premium tactile quality; the remainder of the cabinet is finished in either an elegant black piano lacquer or a warm cherry-wood veneer. Furthermore, its ingeniously designed, independent, sealed tweeter and midrange enclosure effectively shifts standing waves out of the drivers' passband, thereby significantly enhancing overall sound quality.
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers have also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The Verus III employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board with an Aperion red color to represent our love of great sounding audio!
Treble Mod
The Verus V6C Center Channel is designed with a frequency adjustment that enhances the high frequency output by +3dB, compensating for the high frequencies lost when the speaker is positioned behind a projection screen. This simple treble jumper modification significantly increases the versatility of the Verus V6C for various applications. These subtle yet impactful adjustments allow the V8C to perform at its highest potential in different configurations.

Aperion Patented 1.1" ASR Tweeter
Our design objectives required a tweeter that permits a lower crossover frequency in order to unburden the midrange cones above 2.6 kHz, where they tend to beam. To address this conundrum, we went to the drawing board with the goal of developing a tweeter with a diaphragm that resists “rocking” near its resonant frequency. By pinning the diaphragm’s center in a plane above the voice coil, it became “axially stabilized,” which minimizes unwanted distortion. The silk dome is coated in a specially developed damping compound to ensure a smooth and accurate response with controlled resonance. The refined "wishbone" waveguide has resulted in better output, with more uniform frequency response and wider dispersion across its operating range. The ferrofluid cooled voice-coil is driven by a high-energy ferrite magnet motor.
4" Kevlar Midrange Driver With Aluminum Phase Plug
All woofers in the Verus family employ Kevlar cones. This exceptionally rigid Kevlar material allows for a warm, clean and dynamic response. This is driven by a high-performance ferrite magnet structure with a vented pole piece to reduce heat build-up while the aluminum phase plug increases power handling to ensure it performs to the max. This 4" midrange "bullet driver" provides an extraordinary level of detail allowing the vocal range to cut for maximum dialogue clarity.
Custom Dual 6.5" Kevlar Long-Throw Woofer
6.5" Kevlar woofers with long-throw linear excursion provide intense punch. They provide an accurate, tight, clean bass response at the bottom end of the 3-way crossover network. This speaker's 4" midrange and ASR tweeter bring together all the elements for a richly accurate and natural sound that delivers pure sonic utopia.

Custom Lightweight Magnetic Grilles
To protect the speaker's drivers from accidents, pets or curious fingers, the entire Verus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille which can easily be removed when you want to show off your beautiful speakers to friends and family.
Note: To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the left/right side with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.

Are the grilles removable on the Verus speakers?
Yes, they're precision-cut and secured to the speaker with magnets. To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the top with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.
How do I clean and care for my Verus speakers?
The gloss cherry veneer can be polished to perfection with Pledge Furniture Spray using the included microfiber polish cloth. You can also use Old English polish for a deep clean, and it works great on the front-textured baffle!
