Three Way Tower Design
The Verus III Grand V6T features an exceptional three-way floor-standing loudspeaker design that offers distinct advantages in audio reproduction. It is meticulously equipped with Aperion’s patented 1.1” ASR tweeter, capable of precisely reproducing high-frequency details; two 5.25” Kevlar midrange drivers, delivering a rich and natural mid-range performance; and two 6.5” long-throw Kevlar woofers, providing a powerful and impactful low-frequency presence. Furthermore, its ingeniously designed, independent, sealed tweeter and midrange enclosure effectively shifts standing waves out of the drivers' passband, thereby significantly enhancing overall sound quality.
Robust Construction
The V6T features a cabinet constructed from robust, high-density fiberboard (HDF). Its interior is meticulously engineered with multiple structural braces to ensure rock-solid stability, effectively eliminating cabinet resonance at its source and enabling a pure, interference-free audio output. In terms of aesthetics, the front baffle is finished with a Sandblasting matte spray-painting process that exudes a premium tactile quality; the remainder of the cabinet is finished in either an elegant black piano lacquer or a warm cherry-wood veneer.
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers have also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The Verus III employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board with an Aperion red color to represent our love of great sounding audio!
Treble Mod
The Verus III Grand Towers include the TrebleMod feature that allows for reduction of the speakers high frequency response. This feature is designed to help the Grand Towers perform optimally within a variety of different listening environments as well as to accommodate listener preferences. We encourage you to try the speaker with the TrebleMod setting in both the 0dB and -3dB positions and to use the configuration that you find to be the most enjoyable for your usage and room. This serves as a room correction feature for people with “live” rooms that have a large amount of reflective surfaces.

Aperion Patented 1.1" ASR Tweeter
Our design objectives required a tweeter that permits a lower crossover frequency in order to unburden the midrange cones above 2.6 kHz, where they tend to beam. To address this conundrum, we went to the drawing board with the goal of developing a tweeter with a diaphragm that resists “rocking” near its resonant frequency. By pinning the diaphragm’s center in a plane above the voice coil, it became “axially stabilized,” which minimizes unwanted distortion. The silk dome is coated in a specially developed damping compound to ensure a smooth and accurate response with controlled resonance. The refined "wishbone" waveguide has resulted in better output, with more uniform frequency response and wider dispersion across its operating range. The ferrofluid cooled voice-coil is driven by a high-energy ferrite magnet motor.
Dual 5.25" Kevlar Midrange Drivers With Aluminum Phase Plug
All woofers in the Verus family employ Kevlar cones. With the crossover point starting at about 300 Hz, this exceptionally rigid Kevlar material allows for a warm, clean and dynamic response. This is driven by a high-performance ferrite magnet structure with a vented pole piece to reduce heat build-up and larger T-yoke for increased excursion to increase bass response. The aluminum phase plug and extended voice coil increases power handling to ensure they perform to the max. These midrange "bullet drivers" provide an extraordinary level of detail contributing to the Verus V6T Tower Speakers full-color palette of sound.
Dual 6.5" Kevlar Long Throw Woofers
The dual 6.5" Kevlar woofers provide intense punch with a long-throw linear excursion design. These anchor the bottom end of the 3-way crossover network to provide a tight, clean and accurate low-bass response.
Optional Port Plugs
Optional port plugs are included with the passive Verus V6T Tower Speakers. If the speakers are placed close to a wall or they sound "boomy" in your room, one or both of the foam plugs may used to control the bass response.
Furniture-Grade Finish
The slim curves of the Verus line’s first-rate cabinetry make us think "supermodel"—but the primo acoustic qualities means she’d have to sound as good as she looks. The finishing touch for every Verus speaker is a high-gloss cherry-wood veneer or piano-black lacquer that’s so right for every décor, your coffee table will be jealous.

Custom Lightweight Magnetic Grilles
To protect the speaker's drivers from accidents, pets or curious fingers, the entire Verus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille which can easily be removed when you want to show off your beautiful speakers to friends and family.
Note: To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the top with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.

Are the grilles removable on the Verus speakers?
Yes, they're precision-cut and secured to the speaker with magnets. To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the top with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.
What kind of amplifier do I need for these speakers?
The Verus V6T performs well with most AV receivers and 2-channel stereo amplifiers. Our Energy line is an excellent match and will provide robust power for your speakers.
How do I clean and care for my Verus speakers?
The gloss cherry veneer can be polished to perfection with Pledge Furniture Spray using the included microfiber polish cloth. You can also use Old English polish for a deep clean, and it works great on the front-textured baffle!
