Three Way Tower Design
The Verus III Grand V6T features an exceptional three-way floor-standing loudspeaker design that offers distinct advantages in audio reproduction. It is meticulously equipped with Aperion’s patented 1.1” ASR tweeter, capable of precisely reproducing high-frequency details; two 5.25” Kevlar midrange drivers, delivering a rich and natural mid-range performance; and two 6.5” long-throw Kevlar woofers, providing a powerful and impactful low-frequency presence. Furthermore, its ingeniously designed, independent, sealed tweeter and midrange enclosure effectively shifts standing waves out of the drivers' passband, thereby significantly enhancing overall sound quality.
Robust Construction
The V6T features a cabinet constructed from robust, high-density fiberboard (HDF). Its interior is meticulously engineered with multiple structural braces to ensure rock-solid stability, effectively eliminating cabinet resonance at its source and enabling a pure, interference-free audio output. In terms of aesthetics, the front baffle is finished with a Sandblasting matte spray-painting process that exudes a premium tactile quality; the remainder of the cabinet is finished in either an elegant black piano lacquer or a warm cherry-wood veneer.
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and midrange drivers have also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions. The Verus III employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board with an Aperion red color to represent our love of great sounding audio!
Treble Mod
The Verus III Grand Towers include the TrebleMod feature that allows for reduction of the speakers high frequency response. This feature is designed to help the Grand Towers perform optimally within a variety of different listening environments as well as to accommodate listener preferences. We encourage you to try the speaker with the TrebleMod setting in both the 0dB and -3dB positions and to use the configuration that you find to be the most enjoyable for your usage and room. This serves as a room correction feature for people with “live” rooms that have a large amount of reflective surfaces.

Aperion Patented 1.1" ASR Tweeter
Our design objectives required a tweeter that permits a lower crossover frequency in order to unburden the midrange cones above 2.6 kHz, where they tend to beam. To address this conundrum, we went to the drawing board with the goal of developing a tweeter with a diaphragm that resists “rocking” near its resonant frequency. By pinning the diaphragm’s center in a plane above the voice coil, it became “axially stabilized,” which minimizes unwanted distortion. The silk dome is coated in a specially developed damping compound to ensure a smooth and accurate response with controlled resonance. The refined "wishbone" waveguide has resulted in better output, with more uniform frequency response and wider dispersion across its operating range. The ferrofluid cooled voice-coil is driven by a high-energy ferrite magnet motor.
Dual 5.25" Kevlar Midrange Drivers With Aluminum Phase Plug
All woofers in the Verus family employ Kevlar cones. With the crossover point starting at about 300 Hz, this exceptionally rigid Kevlar material allows for a warm, clean and dynamic response. This is driven by a high-performance ferrite magnet structure with a vented pole piece to reduce heat build-up and larger T-yoke for increased excursion to increase bass response. The aluminum phase plug and extended voice coil increases power handling to ensure they perform to the max. Optional Port Plugs
Optional port plugs are included with the passive Verus V6T Tower Speakers. If the speakers are placed close to a wall or they sound "boomy" in your room, one or both of the foam plugs may used to control the bass response.

Custom Lightweight Magnetic Grilles
To protect the speaker's drivers from accidents, pets or curious fingers, the entire Verus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille which can easily be removed when you want to show off your beautiful speakers to friends and family.
Note: To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the top with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.

Are the grilles removable on the Verus speakers?
Yes, they're precision-cut and secured to the speaker with magnets. To remove the grille, gently pinch the grille cloth at the top with your fingers and pull it outward to take it off easily.
What kind of amplifier do I need for these speakers?
The Verus V6T performs well with most AV receivers and 2-channel stereo amplifiers. Our Energy line is an excellent match and will provide robust power for your speakers.
How do I clean and care for my Verus speakers?
The gloss cherry veneer can be polished to perfection with Pledge Furniture Spray using the included microfiber polish cloth. You can also use Old English polish for a deep clean, and it works great on the front-textured baffle!

About four years ago, I sold my older B&W Nautilus 803s for a pair of KEF LS50 Metas. Loved them but I mnissed the fuller sound of tower speakers. After months of research, I purchased the Aperion V6T towers with matching center. Wow!! They look so damn good, I can imagine just buying them to look at! But, they sound wonderful. WONDERFUL. Though I have an SVS SB3000 subwoofer , I really think I could live with just the bass that these provide. I am so happy! the price was right, the packing was bulletproof, shipping was free, delivery was fast, tracking was accurate, warranty is LONG and 60 days to test at home. But I'll never send these babies back! Love 'Em!!
Two channel is much crisper with finer details. I can listen at much lower volumes without feeling the need to crank it up to hear the details. Super happy.

Such a great experience purchasing from Aperion. The new speakers are phenomenal replacements for my Intimus 6T's which I bought almost 20 years ago and are still rocking (just now as surrounds)! The clarity of the V6C is incredible. Dialog is clean. There is an excellent soundstage across the fronts with the V6T's. These speakers have reinvented our theater space and has convinced us to continue upgrading the space itself (hence the lack of photos). They are well built and beautiful pieces. And sound amazing to boot. As always, Aperion's customer service is amazing. Great people!

I purchased a set of Intimus speakers in 2007. Decided to upgrade 2 of them to the Verus III. Added in an amp, E2. Everything arrives as ordered. The Aperion tech helped me over the phone to set up the E2 amp. The system is wonderful. Very happy with the speakers and amp. It’s got the wow factor in sound and appearance.
The tech support at Aperion is top notch. The are great at helping you get the most out of their speakers. I have owned my Aperion speakers for over ten years and never regretted a moment. Great company and a great product.
aperion Verus Grand Towers, Center and Bookshelf Found those lovely speakers on an add in the AVS forums. After doing lots of reading about them from the AVS thread, and reviews, Pro and Customer alike, I decided to try them. Even if buying from Canada, would be more expensive. The customer service is excellent, so is the quality of the drivers, also the finish on the piano gloss is outstanding. Sound wise, also excellent, never regretted my purchase. A big 5 Star overall, and these little gem should have more following.
simply the best, I purchased the Versus II Grand towers, two Versus II grand bookshelf for surround, the Bravus II 12D sub, and the Versus II grand center, Wow. From customer service, to delivery, through set up and performance, exceeded expectations at every step of the way. Recommend them to all my friends and relatives. Strongly encouraging my kids and anyone who will listen, "don't put off spending a reasonable sum on quality audio." I've owned my Verus Grand/Intimus/Bravus 10D system for several year now and wanted to write a brief review on the speakers and Aperion's customer service. The speakers: To begin, the speakers are in a gloss cherrywood finish and look as good today as they did when I removed them from their boxes and protective cloth bags. The finish is durable, having survived secondary use as an occasional cat perch. Sonically, the Verus front-channel speakers are dynamic and extended (both high and low). The integration between the Verus main speakers (stand-mounted two-ways) and the Bravus subwoofer is seamless. The Intiimus center channel does its job and the rear speakers (Intimus bookshelf) provide great in-room coverage. The complete system provides an excellent home theater experience. The combination of the Aperion speakers and my Marantz receiver sounds great and I recommend both highly for their sound, ease of use, and overall value. Well done! Before buying my speakers I was able to speak with the folks at Aperion to discuss my room, planned use of the speakers, and finish and package offers. The pre-sale service (I wasn't even a customer yet) was outstanding enough that I remember it even after so many years. In addition, my Bravus 10D developed an issue after a couple of years and when I called I was told to ship the unit back for evaluation and repair. After a week or so I was informed that the amplifier in the sub was bad and that it had been replaced at no cost to me (even though I think the sub was out of warranty by a little bit) and was already on its way back to me (also at no cost). There have been no issues since then despite daily (and occasionally extended) use. If I could give Aperion more than five stars for their customer service I would. As you can probably tell, I'm still in love with my Aperion system and give the company my highest recommendations. While there are other options out there, I strongly encourage any prospective buyer to call the company and discuss your wants/needs - you might find (as I did) that you can stop looking after considering Aperion.

I absolutely love my Aperion system. Had it for 10 years now. I have a 5.1 system with 2 towers, bipole-dipole surrounds and a 12" sub + 250 watts.
I have a Verus Grand 7:2 hybrid and love it. I have 2 Bravus II12D subs and C6DC in-ceiling speakers. It's a very versatile system that supports my gaming and home theater setup. Love the quality, durability and ease of set up. Thinking of separating the dedicated front base and going 9:2. Can't wait.
Nine years and going great Purchased speakers for a verus 5.1 surround system nine years ago. Had a strange room setup. Sent them a diagram and they helped me configure the system and pick out appropriate speakers. Great communications during the buying and shipping process. When the speakers arrived we were stunned. Packed extremely well and they were beautiful, gorgeous actually. Installation was a breeze. I called tech support a couple times with some nit pick questions. Got almost immediate responses. The sound is incredible. I tested them out on the Mahler Symphony No. 1. Fantastic. Clear highs, amazing presence. Needless to say, they did just fine in surround mode. Be careful with the sub woofer. There is enough power there to move the walls back and forth. Talk to my wife when I play Led Zeppelin. That said the bass is clean and not boomy. Of course they sent a follow up message -- not a survey. How do you like you speakers? anything we can do? kind of message. Told them about my experience and the president of the company wrote back thanking me for my purchase and input. He then asked which version of the Mahler I was listening to (Chcago Symphony - Abbado). Nine years later they still sound as good as the day I got them. Movies, classical music, rock n roll all sound great. And they still look stunning.
Love my speakers. I am using an Atmos configuration of 5.2.4. my Aperion Grands provide a seem less sound feild with a high degree of uniformity. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Aperion has renewed my faith that true audiophile companies still exist! I've been hooked on their products since my very first in home audition. Their attention to detail and customer service is outstanding.
Just complicated my install and 3 days of listening with my 5.2.4 system -older Velodyne SL 1500 and my newest addition the Braves 10 , AperionGrand Verus L, R, Center, rear L and R plus 4 in ceiling for Atmos. My hardware : Marantz 6011 driving Emotiva mono amps on the Front L,R, and center with the Marantz driving the overheads. The new sub blended in immediately after I ran the Audyssey set up software. Sounds: music— much fuller than before and yet even more smooth! movies— I luv si fi and action films,they have taken on a new level of performance and enjoyment.
Online ordering was very simple and speakers arrived a few days later. Set the system up and they perform better than expected!! Now looking to expand system with ceiling speakers in near future.
THE best bang for your buck! Aperion offers speakers that would cost twice as much in a retail store. Their return policy (they pay both ways) is second to none and their customer service is the best I've experienced. I bought a 7.1 Intimus surround sound system from them twelve years ago and it is sill amazing. And I just bought a set of Verus Grand Speakers for my living room to use for mostly music but ended up connecting my TV as well. Strongly recommended!

Just got these isolation stands to get my V6T+'s off the laminate floor... I think there was a small improvement to sound and a big improvement to how loud it sounds outside but even if there was none of that, they looks good!
In my opinion and experience, Aperion Audio is very committed to delivering high quality speakers at reasonable cost, from their products through customer service. I own Verus Grand towers and center channel. For some time I had them positioned improperly and was disappointed - they're sensitive to positioning as the rest of you know. When correctly positioned, performance ranges from excellent to amazing. Some have criticized bass registers but I'm again more than satisfied. There are many fine speakers to choose from but you won't go wrong with Aperion, and may well have chosen the best of the lot.
Spoke with a technical expert about the speakers I was interested and he was able to answer my question very much to my satisfaction and aafter some father consideration I called back and spoke to him again and place my order.
I have been buying Aperion speakers for almost 15 years. I went to their studio in Oregon and listened to the full line up of speakers. My first set were the Verus Grand 6T towers and I was hooked for life. They just sound better than any speaker I've ever heard. I don't do surround and stick to a simple right/left home AV set-up + Bravus sub. I also have a 2 sets of Allaires - one for my office and one for my dining room. The Allaires are great because they create create very technical and rich sound but are small enough that they easily blend into the background. At ear level, the Allaires on my office desk are seriously amazing. Songs I have listened to a hundred times before sound totally new. Be careful though, once you listen to music on the Verus Grand Towers, you're going to be disappointed everywhere else you go.
10 years old, Verus Grand 5.1 system. Astounded at the sound and the value these speakers have brought. About a year ago the subwoofer had an issue with a capacitor. $6 and some solder later, capacitor replaced and the sub is acting like nothing ever happened. Initially these were setup in a living room and they did very well. They’ve since moved into the guest room which is a lot smaller. Since that move they’ve never sounded better. Best speakers I’ve ever had. Their customer service is squarely placed on the top shelf. Recommendation is buy Aperion. Can’t go wrong.

Versus Grand III Gloss Black. OMG.... I just upgraded these from a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers and then onto a pair of Starke Sound bookshelf speakers to these. WOW is all I have to say. I have them bi-wired and they are paired with a M&K 12" sub. They are better in my opinion than the Martin Logan's I loved so much in the past. I keep showing them off to my peer group and everyone is blown away. Glad to have them in my office and listen to them everyday.
10+ years later... we still love the sound and looks. I bought a beautiful set of 6.1 speakers from Aperion Audio way back in 2014 and still love the incredible way they sound and perform all these years later. Plus, the cherry cabinets look as beautiful as the day we received them. On the one occasion we called customer service for help, they were responsive and most helpful.
Streaming through an Onkyo TX-RZ50 in Pure Direct mode driving my Verus Grands II is just stellar. Set up correctly they image incredibly. You’d swear that center is blasting away I kid you not. Spectacular 🎼
I'm very happy with my Verus III tower speakers. They replaced the ten year old Intimus bookshelf fronts in my 5.1 system (now 7.1). The Aperion support staff answered all of my questions before and after my purchase without any pressure to buy anything. I recommend Aperion Audio to anyone needing quality audio components.
I purchased the Aperion Verus Grand III's and the Bravus 10D sub about one month ago. They arrived very well packed and in a very timely fashion. The purple suade bags they come in are an extra nice touch and help protect the beautiful cabinets of these. Setting them up was very easy as Aperion packed them very thoughtfuly as to out the boxes with spikes and stands right on top so you can mount then flip then slide the box off. As for the sound....well simply put they are outstanding. Especially at this price point. Basically very hard to beat. Very detailed and refined mid-range. Vocals and snare drums have this very open, realistic snap to them. The tweeters sound very smooth but not dull and have a very nice open sound. I put mine at -3 db with trebel mod. They were a touch bright for my taste set to flat. But that's ok, these are flexible for multiple tastes with the trebel mod and it was added to the speaker nicely and is exactly what my ears like. As for the bass response. Smooth, full, detailed, and deep when needed. I have a pretty large room at 30x12 and these fill it up perfectly. Bass response is a non issue. I tried them plugged and partially plugged and completely unplugged and for my room and placement, fully unplugged works best. Although with some audio recordings that have excessive amounts of bass, I plug one port on each tower and it's fixed. I almost don't need the sub with them. But I have finally dialed the sub in and have it placed and blended nicely to fill in the 50hz and below section. I have my Grands biamped with a Sunfire 300Two on the bottoms and a Threshold 400A on mid/top. Wonderful sound. I did try them with just a single amp and then bi wired and finally bi amped. I feel the best result is biamped. But they still sounded wonderful any way I had them hooked up. I'll be buying more from Aperion. Excellent product. Very well thought out from the build to the design to the packaging. If you have the money, pull the trigger and grab these.
A+ Company through and through Honestly one of the best money I've ever spent coupled with the best customer service I've ever experienced in one company. I can't brag about these guys enough. I have been with Aperion for 10 years,and I have never once found a better company I'd rather be with. Their speakers area amazing. I've owned the Intimus 4t Hybrid setup and the 5c center, recently I've auditioned the Verus Grand towers and the Verus Grand center, and I've been blown away. They bear the closest sonic resemblance to IMAX experiences than any speaker I've ever heard. You won't regret it !
Great service and great products are the hallmark of Aperion Audio. I have been a fan from day one and every speaker in my house is theirs. My wife says 8 speakers is enough. I'm sure I'll get more at some point, after all there are other rooms than our home theater.
I have enjoyed my versus grand speakers for over 11 years. They still sound great. Anytime I have had a repair issue, which was rare, the Aperion representative has taken great care of me. Never a hassle. I will definitely buy again but mine still sound great.
Full natural sound, effortless bass and the best customer service Aperion Audio is great. I first bought a cherry wood set of 7.1 speakers from them in 2005 or so. I just recently moved to a new location and set everything up again and decided to order a set of Super Tweeters to make up for my old ears. The system sounds full and natural. The sub-woofer produces a wonderful effortless natural sounding foundation. The speakers sound as good today as they did 15 years ago. The customer service and shipping speed is great.
Best customer service EVER! LOVE MY NEW SPEAKERS! I bought my first pair from you over 10 years ago ( they are still awesome but downsizing to smaller pair) and not a thing has changed. Best product, quality, packaging, delivery and customer service. I would never buy anywhere else and highly recommend to everyone.
excellent and superb service Since my first contact with Aperion I have not been more pleased and satisfied with not only the knowledge and quality of products, but also there customer service, support, and responsiveness in delivering and taking action in doing what is best for the customer. Ok you want an example ? Here ya go...... just last week ago my surround sound speaker simply stopped working. So I got on the phone quickly with them to help discover any issues that may have been resolved over the phone. Unfortunately we were unable to detect any issues and Aperion proposed the crossover may have failed. A such, they got me to ship the speaker to repair. Well after 4 days they called me and said “ we are working on the speaker but have decided to ship you a brand new one so that you are up and running for the Holidays”. I got my speaker in 2 days !! Wow !!!! I truly appreciate Aperion and I truly love my verus grand speaker system too ! Keep up the great work guys !!
Love Aperion Immediately after buying a 5 channel surround system from Aperion in 2011, I knew I had made the right call. Nearly a decade later, I am still so happy with my investment. Just last month my pup knocked over one of my tower speakers and broke its grill. One quick message to Aperion’s terrific customer service got my issue resolved: less than a week later I had received my replacement grill and I am a happy camper once more. The performance of these speakers were enough to earn my loyalty but the customer service is what truly separates them from the pack. If you are considering buying speakers from them, look no further!
