The Aperion Audio Novus A5 Atmos Height speakers is perfect for premium 3D audio systems and performs exceptionally well as a surround speaker in conventional multi-channel setups. With various mounting options available, the A5 can be precisely positioned for optimal listening.
The APERION A5 Immersive Atmos Height Speakers is perfect for achieving the latest surround formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X that require "height" channels. Traditionally, this required installing in-ceiling speakers above your seating area. But with the Aperion A5, you can attain this effect with several different methods that do not require you to cut holes in your ceiling.

Concentric Driver Design
While looking for the best silk material, our team discovered a natural fiber from Germany that excels in high-frequency reproduction. Each Novus speaker comes with this innovative tweeter, utilizing a neodymium magnet and a ferrofluid-cooled voice coil to achieve a frequency range up to 30 kHz. This design is known for its high precision, clarity, and adaptability.
The 5.25" aluminum woofer features a coaxial design that delivers clear midrange and deep bass. Its optimized dispersion allows the speaker to work well on both walls and ceilings, ensuring that sound effects are sharp and easy to pinpoint
Versatile Placement Options
The APERION A5 Immersive Height Speakers Module can be placed on top of your front left and right speakers, mounted on the wall in front, behind to your side, or mounted directly on your ceiling.
Up-Firing
If you prefer not to mount speakers on the ceiling or walls, you can simply place your A5's on the top of your L/R speakers, enabling any flat-topped speaker to support Dolby Atmos and DTS: X.
If the top of your speaker is curved, don't worry; we have designed a Wood Platform specifically for the A5 that fits speakers with non-flat tops.
Multiple Mounting Options
The Aperion Audio A5 Height Speakers offer versatile mounting options, allowing you to position them in various ways to suit your space. You can place them directly on top of your main speakers for an enhanced audio experience, securely mount them on the wall to save floor space, install them on the ceiling for an immersive surround-sound effect, or even set them on your desk for a convenient, compact setup.

Examples of use cases
Add-on top of main speakers
Comfortably set the APERION Novus A5 Height Speakers on top of your front left and right speakers. This will allow the sound to be reflected off the ceiling and produce the illusion of overhead speakers. If using one pair, place on front speakers. For two pairs, place on top of the front and rear speakers.
On-Wall Down-Firing
If your ceiling does not allow for adequate reflection, mount the APERION A5 high on the front wall. Due to the angle of the speaker, this will also produce a very effective rendering of the overhead channels. Two pairs can be mounted in this fashion on the front and rear walls. The same can be done on the side walls if the front/rear is not suitable.
On-Ceiling Down-Firing
The APERION Novus A5 Height Speakers can also be direct mounted on the ceiling. This avoids having to cut holes in the ceiling, yet provides the ideal positioning of the speakers physically located overhead. Multiple pairs can be used in this configuration.
Rotatable Logo
You can rotate the logo to match whether the speaker is mounted vertically or horizontally.
5-Way Gold-Plated Binding Posts
The 5-way gold-plated binding posts lets you connect your speakers any which way you choose: bare wire, banana plugs, spades, round pins or flat pins.
Advanced Crossover
Time-intensive iterative designing and fine-tuning of the crossover networks have resulted in a smoother, more neutral, and better balanced frequency response across the whole range. Enhanced phase integration between the tweeter and mid-bass drivers have also resulted in a cleaner, more open sound in the transition regions.
